Spryths

About: Spryths are paranormal entities. They are born of any intense, negative emotion. Seen as spirits of ponies who have met a tragic/early end.

Basic Info:

• Earth/Unicorn/Pegasus (Common) Alicorn (extremely rare)
  
• Baby Spryths are also very rare. Seen as a bad omen.
  
• Male/Female
  
• Not technically alive
  
• Has three forms. (Active, Dormant (also called its ‘True form’), and Broken.)
  

Physical Features:

• Body is always translucent, dark grey, slightly tinted in the color of mane/tail flame.
  
• Eyes, hair, and heart glow.
  
• Has a burning flame at the tip of the tail.
  
• Skull-like heads, bones visible inside the body.
  
• Beating heart the same color as mane/tail flame.
  
• Heart opens, usually blank inside. Occasionally, a picture of who the Spryth once was will appear inside, if somepony remembers them.
  
• No hind legs, ghostly tail instead.
  
• No cutie marks.
  
• Hollow sockets for eyes, possible to have glowing irises inside.
  
• No neck, head hovers above body.

Habitat:

• Anywhere.
  
• Favor old, dark, and/or abandoned places, preferably large with a lot of room to hide.
  
• Can possess things. It’s easier to possess items, but pony-possession is possible.

Diet:

• Does not physically eat.
  
• However, it is said that they will feed off a pony’s life force.
